Maintenance Technician (Field-Focused, Hands-On Role)

MOJO is building a team of car wash people who take pride in keeping things running.As a Maintenance Technician, your job is simple: Keep the car wash running. Fix what breaks. Prevent what you can.This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll be working on equipment daily—not sitting behind a screen. If you like solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing immediate results from your work, this role fits.

What You'll Be Doing

Hands-On Maintenance & Repairs (Primary Focus)

n

n
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues in real time
n
- Work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls
n
- Troubleshoot problems quickly and get sites back up and running
n
- Handle everything from small fixes to larger system repairs
n

n

Preventative Maintenance

n

n
- Perform routine service to keep equipment running smoothly
n
- Catch issues before they turn into downtime
n
- Follow simple, effective maintenance routines (not overcomplicated checklists)
n

n

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

n

n
- Identify root causes—not just quick fixes
n
- Think on your feet when equipment goes down
n
- Make decisions in the field to keep operations moving
n

n

Team & Site Support

n

n
- Work closely with site teams to keep everything operational
n
- Communicate clearly about issues and next steps
n
- Step in where needed—this is a team-first setting
n

n

- You're moving most of the day—this is not a sit-down role

- You'll work indoors and outdoors, around active equipment

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Strong mechanical aptitude (you can take things apart and put them back together)
n
- Basic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls is a plus)
n
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred
n
- Welding experience is a plus, not required
n
- Able to troubleshoot under pressure without overthinking it
n
- Takes ownership—you don't wait to be told what to do
n

Additional Requirements

All candidates considered for this position must submit a valid driver's license and successfully pass a company insurance review authorizing them to operate fleet vehicles. Insurance approval is required prior to the start date.
