Home Care Worker / Personal Care Worker ( Community )

Provide caring, compassionate, respectful and high quality holistic care in Aged, Disability and Mental Health

Right At Home Adelaide Central are currently seeking compassionate Care Workers or Home Care worker residing in Adelaide, to provide high-quality holistic care to Aged Care and Disability clients in their home. This role include helping people to do the task in their home and community that they are no longer to be able to do by themselves. - You will be a valued team member helping to provide services to support clients’ individual needs in both their home and community

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as a Support/Personal care worker may include:

- Domestic Assistance including cleaning
- Meal Preparation
- Assist with ADL’S
- Respite
- Transport to appointments and shopping, or any other social activity

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Afternoon ( Finish at 0900 PM)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (Required)

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Aged and Disability
- Satisfactory Australian National Police check
- Current or willing to obtain a first aid and CPR certificate
- Driver’s licence and their own reliable presentable car
- Must be up-to-date in their vaccination against COVID-19
- 6‑24 Months work experience as a PCW/SW

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $42.00 – $86.00 per hour

What we’re looking for

We welcome applicants at all experience levels ($41.08 p/hr):

- Current to Aged Care – Full training and support provided.
- Experienced – Confident delivering day‑to‑day home care tasks.
- Advanced/Qualified – Relevant qualifications and strong capability will attract a higher hourly rate.

In addition, you will need:

- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support (dependant)

Job Type

- Permanent Full Time Position - 76 hour per fortnight
