About the Company

Anestablished and highly regarded Specialist Medical practiceis seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Practice Manager who enjoystaking ownership, leading a team and having genuine influence over the day-to-day operation of a specialist practice.

The practice is professional, patient-focused and committed to providing a high standard of service and care.The successful candidate will join an established team and work closely with the Practice Principals in a hands-on and varied role.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Practice Principals, you will be responsible for the overall management and smooth running of the practice.This is a hands-on leadership role encompassing people management, financial administration, operations, systems, compliance and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring a smooth, efficient and high-quality service.
- Lead and develop the practice team, including recruitment, rostering, training, performance and team culture.
- Manage practice systems and finances, including Genie, Eclipse, accounts, reporting and ongoing process improvements.
- Oversee compliance, governance and risk, including policies, privacy, quality improvement and data security.
- Build robust relationships with Practice Principals,



medical professionals, hospitals, referrers and other key stakeholders.
- Support the administration of the Melbourne Knee Foundation, including Fellowship and research activities.

About You

You will be an experienced Practice Manager with a strong background inspecialist medical practice or a similar senior medical administration role.

To be successful, you will have:

- At least 3 years' experience in Practice Management or a similar senior medical administration role
- Experience within a specialist medical or surgical environment
- Experience with Genie (Essential)
- Strong understanding of specialist practice workflows, administration and financial processes
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to support, develop and manage a team
- Highly organised, proactive and discreet, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

You will be someone who enjoys taking ownership, leads by example and thrives on managing the many moving parts of a busy specialist practice.

The Offer

On offer is asalary of $100k - $110k + super(depending on experience). This is a permanent position working 4–5 days per week, approximately 8.30am–5.00pm, with a genuine 9-day fortnight. Onsite parking is also available.
