About the Role
n
As a Personal Support Worker, you'll directly assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.
n
Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
- Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
n
- Grooming, bathing,
dressing and dental hygiene
n
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
n
- Basic wound care and self medication
n
- Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)
n
- Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)
n
n
About You
n
n
- Are excellent listeners and communicate authentically
n
- Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
n
- Hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
n
- Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
n
- Are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications.
