Nowra Christian School are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our Primary team in 2027, as a:

Primary Teacher

n

Full-time ongoing position as a Classroom Teacher in our Primary Department, commencing in January 2027.

Selection Criteria

n

n
- A robust Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
n
- An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
n
- Possess appropriate Primary Teaching qualifications and NESA Accreditation
n




- Sound knowledge of best-practice approaches to literacy and numeracy development
n
- Experience in a variety of stages in primary education would be valued
n
- An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
n
- Excellent classroom management
n
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
n

- Current Protestant church minister's referee details
n
- Completion of the school's online application form
n
- Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
n
- NSW Teacher Accreditation number
n
