About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Advisory Architect to provide strategic leadership across Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives within a large enterprise environment. You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define IAM strategy, strengthen governance, improve operational maturity, and support the delivery of secure, scalable identity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

IAM Strategy & Architecture

n

n
- Provide architectural leadership and governance across the Identity and Access Management domain.
n
- Develop and maintain IAM roadmaps aligned with business objectives and cybersecurity strategy.
n
- Advise stakeholders on IAM best practices, standards, and emerging technologies.
n
- Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise security principles and regulatory requirements.
n
- Establish and maintain IAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
n
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with identity and access management.
n
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory obligations.
n
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards, processes, and governance requirements.
n

Operational Excellence

n

- Drive continuous improvement across IAM services through process optimisation and automation.
n
- Develop service performance metrics, reporting dashboards, and improvement initiatives.
n
- Promote operational efficiency, resilience, and service quality across the IAM environment.
n

Stakeholder Engagement

n

n
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, security teams, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders.
n
- Provide strategic guidance for enterprise transformation and technology modernisation initiatives.
n




- Influence decision-making by providing expert architectural advice and recommendations.
n
- Support the adoption of modern identity technologies, cloud identity services, and automation capabilities.
n
- Contribute to enterprise transformation programs by embedding secure identity practices into solution design.
n
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to strengthen the IAM capability.
n

About You

n

You are an experienced IAM Architect or Senior IAM Consultant with a robust background in enterprise security architecture and identity governance. You possess excellent communication skills and can confidently engage with both technical and executive stakeholders.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- Extensive experience designing and advising on enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions.
n
- Strong understanding of IAM governance, identity lifecycle management, privileged access management, and authentication technologies.
n
- Experience supporting compliance, audit, and risk management activities.
n
- Demonstrated success driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing skills.
n

Desirable Certifications

n

One or more of the following certifications will be highly regarded:

- Microsoft Identity and Security certifications
n
- CyberArk certifications
n
- Saviynt certifications
n
- CISSP, CISM or other Cyber Security certifications

- ITIL Foundation or higher
n
- Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe, AgilePM)

- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)

- AI-related certifications relevant to enterprise technology
