Due to the growing demand for our services, we are expanding our operations team and are seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to fill the key role of a Fleet Controller.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience within the transport industry, preferably the same-day courier sector. Working closely with our Operations Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating fleet movements, supporting drivers, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Assist drivers and clients with operational enquiries and support.
- Dispatch and manage fleet movements efficiently.
- Route drivers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
- Learn and operate our modern dispatch and management systems.
- Assist with warehouse and depot operations as required.
- Perform pickups and deliveries when required using a company vehicle.
- Contribute to a safe, productive,
and team-oriented work environment.
About you
- Previous experience in the transport, logistics, or courier industry (preferred).
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- A current and valid Australian driver's licence.
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
