About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join our headspace Early Psychosis Team - (Mount Druitt / Penrith / Parramatta).
n
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations across three headspace Early Psychosis centres, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, youth-friendly mental health services. The successful candidate can be based at any one of our three headspace Early Psychosis sites, with regular travel between centres as required.
n
Working closely with the General Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting service delivery, leading teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
n
Location: Mount Druitt | with travel across headspace sites (Parramatta & Penrith)
n
Work Type: Full-Time | Max-term until January 2028 with the possibility of extension.
n Reports to: General Manager of Mental Health & Wellbeing

As Operations Manager, you will:
n

- Lead the operational management of three headspace early psychosis sites.
n
- Support and develop multidisciplinary teams.
n
- Drive service quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
n
- Monitor service performance and operational outcomes.
n
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Work closely with the General Manager to achieve strategic and operational objectives.
n
- Foster a positive, inclusive and recovery-oriented culture across the service.
n
n
About You
n
n
- Demonstrated leadership experience within mental health services.
n
- A solid understanding of community mental health and recovery-oriented practice.
n
- Excellent operational, people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
n
- The ability to lead across multiple sites and manage competing priorities.
n
- A collaborative and solution-focused approach to leadership.
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Valid Driver's Licence and personal reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement / Fleet vehicles available)
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
- Clinical qualifications and experience (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or another relevant Allied Health discipline).
n
- Previous experience managing multidisciplinary mental health teams.
n
n
