We are supporting a client seeking an experienced ASIC Architect to lead the definition and architectural direction of complex ASIC developments from concept through early implementation.

This is a senior, hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys shaping system-level design decisions and working closely with design, verification, and implementation teams to ensure architectural intent is realised.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Derive a complete and robust ASIC specification from system and product-level requirements
n
- Define the high-level ASIC architecture, including block partitioning, interfaces, and interconnects
n
- Own and evolve the ASIC specification and architecture throughout the early development phases as requirements mature
n
- Participate in and lead block-level design reviews to ensure implementation aligns with architectural intent
n
- Provide architectural guidance and technical direction across multiple design teams
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- 15+ years' experience in ASIC design and architecture roles
n
- Proven experience owning ASIC specifications and high-level architectures for complex devices
n
- Strong understanding of full ASIC development flow and cross-functional dependencies
n
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
- Background working closely with RTL, verification, physical design, and system teams
n
n
