An exciting chance exists for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation and play a key role in driving financial sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence. It is a permanent opportunity, based at Emerald.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee all financial accounting activities, including month-end and year-end processes
n
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Financial Accounting functions
n
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
n
- Prepare financial reports for Executive Leadership, Board and Committee meetings
n
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirementsDevelop and enhance financial policies, procedures and internal controls
n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
n
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
n
- Demonstrated experience in a senior finance leadership position
n
- Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, budgeting and compliance requirements
n
- Experience managing audits and preparing statutory financial statements
n
- Experience within government, not-for-profit or community-focused organisations - must have
n
