We are aBeenleigh based fabrication and manufacturing business, who design, manufacture, install and maintain custom built conveyors and equipment for the food &beverage; and some general industries.

n

We are seeking a full-time qualified fabrication workshop supervisor to lead our fabrication team for both workshop and Brisbane-based in office works (installation, fabrication and maintenance).

n

As the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating the workshop team, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the highest standard.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading and supporting a team of workshop fabricators and fitters
n
- Coordinating workflow and job allocation
n
- Performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on equipment
n
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures
n
- Assisting with training and mentoring of team members
n

n

ESSENTIAL Requirements for the position

n

n
- Applicants must hold a Fabrication Trade qualification with Minimum 3 years experience
n
- Proven experience in leading a proactive team
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead and organize a team
n




- Strong problem-solving ability to ensure delivery of a quality product
n
- weldingstainless steel fabrication in food industries.
n
- Accurate and tidy TIG Welding Skills
n
- Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings
n
- High level of pride in workmanship and attention to detail
n
- Factory floor test prior to starting
n
- Supervisor training
n
- MIG skills an advantage
n

- Forklift ticket and/or EWP an advantage

This role is based in our Beenleigh workshop and will require local site work as required. Remuneration package is above award and will be commensurate with experience

n

Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.30pm;

n

Friday 6am to 12pm;

n

Overtime and weekend work will be required
