The Role
n
n
- Using carpentry hand and power tools
n
- Reading and interpreting building plans
n
- Taking accurate measurements and making calculations
n
- Lock-up and fix carpentry
n
- Occasional framing work
n
- Working as part of a team to meet site deadlines
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
n
- Learning and developing your carpentry skills
n

About You
n
n
- Is punctual, reliable and hard-working
n
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
n
- Takes direction and listens
n
- Has some experience using hand and power tools
n
- Takes pride in their workmanship
n
- Has good attention to detail
n
- Can communicate clearly and effectively
n
- Can work to deadlines and complete tasks to a high standard
n
- Has good problem-solving skills
n
- Is genuinely interested in becoming a valuable carpenter
n

Requirements
n

- White Card preferred, but can be obtained after commencing
n
- Basic carpentry hand tools required, including a nail bag, tape measure, square, chisel, etc.
n
- Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
n
- Must be able to get to site each morning, or meet in Bacchus Marsh
n
- Based in Bacchus Marsh without transport? That's not necessarily a deal breaker. If you're local and the right fit for the team, I'm happy to discuss picking up and dropping off each day.
