Head and Neck Research and Clinical Trials Manager

This is a 12-month maximum term contract opportunity with the potential to extend based on operational requirements at the end of the term.

What You'll Be Leading
n
n
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of head and neck clinical trials, from site set-up and ethics submissions through to close-out and reporting
n
- Acting as the primary liaison between investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to ensure protocol compliance and audit readiness
n
- Coordinating patient recruitment, consent processes, and data integrity in alignment with ICH-GCP standards
n
- Supporting new trial submissions and contributing to grant applications and academic outputs
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
- Demonstrated experience managing clinical trials within an oncology or specialist hospital environment
n
- Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, TGA requirements, and HREC processes
n
- Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists
n
- Experience with clinical trial management systems and research governance frameworks
n
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage concurrent protocols without compromising data quality
n
- A tertiary qualification in a health science, nursing, or related discipline
n
- Legal right to work in Australia – we regret, no sponsorship is offered for this position
n
- Current working with children check (WWCC).
n
- National Police Check not more than 6 months old or willingness to obtain.
n
- Compliance with Category A health worker immunisation.
