Job Description

The Food Services Assistant (FSA) is accountable for the preparation and delivery of a quality food and beverage service, compliance with the food safety program and environmental cleanliness and waste control service in residential aged care

SELECTION CRITERIA

n

n
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekly, morning, afternoon and weekends including public holidays
n
- Relevant experience in similar role in a health care setting
n
- Computer skills at a basic level
n
- Understanding of confidentiality
n
- Satisfactory National History Criminal Check prior to commencement of employment
n
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
n
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people
n
- Self-motivated with a high level of communication and organisational skills demonstrated ability to work alone
n

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Work as part of a resident/patient focused team
n
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
n
- Follow daily duties list - as per Rostered Shift requirements.
n
- Ensure full compliance with all regulations relating to food/catering services
n
- Perform duties as established by job duties specific to areas or as directed by person in charge
n
