Work Hours are 6:30AM to 3:36PM Monday to Friday (with an RDO every 5 weeks)

This position will be based at our White Rock Campus with some travel to Kewarra Beach Campus required.

About the role

n

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

n

n




- Creating vibrant outdoor spaces that promote a sense of calm, inspiration and community pride
n
- Maintaining the upkeep and improvement of school's grounds, gardens and lawns, contributing to a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students and staff
n
- Contributing to ongoing grounds enhancements and the preparation and care of sporting facilities
n

n

You'll work with a fun and collaborative team that values initiative, attention to detail, and a great sense of humour and learn a lot from your teammates in the process.

n

About you

n

To be successful in this role you are:

n

n
- A skilled, experienced and enthusiastic gardener
n
- Experienced in working in the outdoor environment
n
- Knowledgeable and experienced in horticulture, pest management and plant care (or strong interest to learn)
n
- Skilled in using horticultural machinery, hand and power tools
n
- The sort of team player who will put their hand up to contribute, regardless of the task to be done
n
- A robust communicator and collaborative team member
n

You will also bring

n

n
- CERT III qualification in Horticulture preferred
n
- Blue Card or Suitability
n
- HLTAID012 Certificate - Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
n
- HLTAID009 Certificate - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
n

n
