Apprentice Roof Plumber – Barossa Valley

Wonganella Constructions is a Barossa-based construction company specialising in commercial and industrial roofing and cladding, structural steel erection and steel building construction.

We are looking for a motivated person to join our team as an Apprentice Roof Plumber , working towards a Certificate III in Roof Plumbing.

This is a hands-on role offering plenty of variety. While your apprenticeship will focus on roof plumbing, you will also work alongside our crews on a broad range of structural steel and industrial construction projects.

The Role

As part of your apprenticeship, you will gain practical experience in:

- Commercial and industrial roofing

- Roof and wall cladding

- Gutters, downpipes and rainheads

- Flashings and architectural cladding

- Reading plans and setting out

- Using hand and power tools

- Working safely at heights

- Working from EWPs and access equipment

- Working around structural steel erection and crane operations

- Industrial, water infrastructure, quarry and larger construction sites

Our work is varied, so you won't necessarily be doing the same thing every day or working on the same type of project.

A current driver's licence and reliable transport are highly desirable.

Previous construction experience is helpful but not essential. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.

Our yard is based in the Barossa Valley, and we are particularly interested in applicants living within approximately 30 minutes of our yard.
