Our client, Harbour Car Care Pty Ltd, is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic to support its vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair operations.

Responsibility

- Diagnosing, servicing and repairing motor vehicles and their mechanical components.
n

n

Duties

n

n
- Diagnoses mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles;
n
- Services and maintains engines, brakes, steering, suspension and transmission systems;
n
- Inspects, repairs and replaces worn or defective vehicle components;
n
- Performs scheduled servicing, oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups;
n
- Uses computerised diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults;
n
- Tests and adjusts vehicles after repairs to ensure proper performance;
n
- Follows manufacturer specifications and relevant service manuals;
n




- Maintains proper records of servicing and repair work;
n
- Maintains a clean, organised and protected workshop.
n

Qualification

n

n
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive/Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a related field;
n
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications;
n
- Relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification;
n
- Registration or licensing may be required, where applicable;
n
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the automotive mechanical field.

Salary

n

n
- $75,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation
n

n

Working Condition

n

n
- Full Time / 38 hours per week
