As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for solution architectures for customer engagements that are fit for purpose, deliver on the customer's business and/or IT strategies / blueprints, and comply with the customer's enterprise architecture principles, standards, and policies.

The Role

n

n
- Define the end-to-end solution architecture for an initiative, depicting the change impacts to the existing architecture from a business / application / integration / information / infrastructure / security architecture, and service & operational management.
n
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with diverse teams and present architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Present solution options to a range of stakeholders based on high level business requirements; and apply high level costings to the solution options.
n
- Develop current state, target state and transition state solution architecture artefacts for Customer engagements. These may include a customer's entire Enterprise architecture landscape or targeted at specific project scope. Projects/Programs may include delivering impactful AI-infused low-code solutions with OutSystems, transformation programs or Transition/M&A; programs.

- Review,



interpret and respond to detailed business requirements to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future solution capability.
n
- Provide technical oversight and architecture governance of projects through design, development, implementation, and post-implementation review phases.
n
- Ensure that the solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulations, customer's architecture standards.
n
- Technical and Solution Leadership – work closely with technical leads, other solution architects and business stakeholders to provide direction for both technology and business.
n
- Contribute to development of business cases, business, and technology strategy for Customer engagements.

Who You Are

n

n
- 5+ years Solution Architecture experience in delivering fit-for-purpose architectures.
n
- Solid technical leadership experience and ability to mentor and guide developers.
n
- Experience in the development of architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
n
- Ability to discuss complex concepts in a clear and simple manner that is adapted to the audience.
n
- Ability to slice & dice complex problems into distinct and manageable solution components, supported by fact-based analysis of options, pros & cons, costs, and more.
n
- Pragmatic in defining solutions that are fit for purpose.
n
- Delivery focused and can prioritise your own work.
n
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
n
- Strong experience in solution estimation and delivery planning.
n
- Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders to achieve the right outcomes.
n




- Have a proven ability to understand business domains, understand their challenges and elicit requirements.
n
- Prior experience across multiple industry domains and preferably in at least one of the following industry domains: Financial Services, Utilities, Government, or Health
n
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, ability to identify key issues and risks to deliver timeframes and the assessment of stakeholder needs.
n
- Experience in successfully evaluating ICT solutions and services and negotiating technology requirements with vendors.
n
- Demonstrated experience and application of Solution Architecture best practice methodologies from analysis to implementation, such as TOGAF.
n
- Have experience working across one or more Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP.
n
- Competent use of AI and workflow automation.
n
- Bachelor's degree in IT or other relevant disciplines.
n
- Professional certification in one or more architecture methodologies like TOGAF is desirable but not mandatory.
n
- One or more recognised skilled certifications across Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS desirable but not mandatory.
n
- You must have Australian Citizenship or PR and willing to undergo a police check.
n
