As our Victorian operation continues to grow, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver to join our team.

n

The Role

n

Working closely with our Victorian Operations Manager and transport team, you'll help keep the warehouse and transport operation running safely and efficiently.

n

Your day will be varied. You'll be involved in forklift operations, loading and unloading vehicles, receiving and dispatching freight, preparing customer orders and keeping the warehouse organised.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
n
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
n
- Receiving, checking and dispatching freight
n
- Preparing freight for transport and customer delivery
n
- Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
n
- Securing and positioning freight correctly
n
- Assisting drivers with loading and unloading
n
- Checking freight for damage and reporting discrepancies
n
- Maintaining an organised, clean and secure warehouse
n
- Completing warehouse and transport documentation
n
- Using handheld devices and warehouse/transport systems
n
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and transport team
n
- Following all WHS, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures
n
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
n

What We're Looking For

n

We're looking for someone who is reliable,



switched-on and takes ownership of their work.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- A current Forklift Licence (LF)
n
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
n
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
- Good understanding of safe forklift operation and warehouse practices
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
n
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
- A safety-first attitude
n
- The physical ability to perform manual handling and warehouse duties
n
- Basic computer skills and confidence using handheld devices
n
- A Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence would be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
- Previous experience in transport, distribution or handling bulky or specialist freight will also be advantageous.

You might currently be working as a Forklift Driver, Warehouse Operator, Storeperson, Logistics Operator or Transport/Warehouse Assistant and be looking for your next opportunity.
