Summit Building Group is seeking Apprentice Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis. You will play an important part in delivering great results on our residential carpentry projects., As an experienced apprentice, you'll be working alongside qualified tradespeople on a range of new residential projects and renovations. You'll learn hands-on skills in being able to;
- Confidently complete all aspects of residential carpentry
- Competently measure, cut and assemble materials
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- Provide on-the-job training to develop essential carpentry skills
- Maintain a high standard when adhering to building standards and WHS protocols
About The Candidate
- Currently undertaking the appropriate study to obtain your certification
- Work in a fast-paced setting
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Problem-solving and critical thinking to resolve challenges on site
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid 'driver's license and well-equipped with a range of basic trade tools
- Must have asbestos, silica and white cards
