Job Description
About the role:
n
Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our growing customer base across Tasmania. This is a varied, autonomous role where you'll deliver preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and technical support to customers across a range of industries.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on compressed air equipment
n
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
n
- Completing on-site repairs, upgrades and equipment commissioning
n
- Providing technical support and exceptional customer service
n
- Maintaining accurate service records and completing service documentation
n
- Participating in an on-call roster
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic or similar)
n
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
n
- A practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment, taking ownership of your schedule and service commitments with support from a Service Planner.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Full Australian working rights
n
n
