Workshop Manager – Tyre & Mechanical Centre

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to lead our busy tyre and mechanical workshop. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone with strong automotive industry experience, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for building high‑performing teams while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop.

Coordinate workflow, bookings, and job scheduling to maximise productivity and efficiency.

Lead, mentor, and develop workshop technicians and support staff.

Maintain high standards of workmanship, workplace safety, and customer service.

Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and the wider team.

Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Monitor workshop performance, productivity, and profitability.

Foster a positive, accountable, and team‑focused workplace culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Strong knowledge of the tyre and automotive industry.

Previous experience managing or leading a workshop, service department, or automotive team.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

The ability to prioritise workloads and perform well in a fast‑paced environment.

A customer‑first approach with solid problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

A current driver's licence.
