We're an Australian women's fashion label opening a Christmas pop-up, and we're looking for a warm, stylish, and reliable Part-Time Retail Assistant to join us for our busiest and most exciting season of the year. This is a seasonal, part-time role running October through December, with the potential to continue with the brand beyond the festive period for the right person.

About the role

n

As the face of our pop-up, you'll create a welcoming, elevated shopping experience helping customers find pieces they love, keeping the space looking beautiful, and making sure every visit feels special during the Christmas rush.

What you'll be doing:

n

- Delivering genuine, personable customer service and styling advice on the floor
n
- Driving sales and helping customers put together looks and gifts
n
- Processing transactions accurately at the POS
n
- Gift-wrapping and adding those special festive touches for customers
n
- Keeping the store beautifully merchandised, stocked, and tidy throughout the day
n
- Replenishing stock and assisting with deliveries and stocktakes
n

About you

- A minimum of 2 years' retail or customer service experience is essential
n
- A genuine love of fashion and an eye for styling
n
- Warm, confident, and great with people
n
- Reliable, punctual, and a real team player
n
- Available across the season, including weekends and extended trading over the Christmas peak
n
- Comfortable on your feet and staying energised through busy periods
n

The details

Type: Casual, seasonal (October-December 2026)
n Hours:



20-25 hours per week across weekdays and weekends ( need to be available at least 3 days a week)
n Pay: $34 per hour - set per the General Retail Industry Award
n Location: Paddington
n Start date: Early October

- Offer styling advice and help customers build outfits and find the perfect gifts

- Drive sales and work towards individual and store targets

- Build genuine rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and loyalty

Point of sale & transactions

n

- Process sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately at the POS
n
- Handle cash and card payments and reconcile at end of day
n
- Capture customer details for the mailing list where appropriate
n

Store presentation & merchandising

n

n
- Keep the pop‐up beautifully merchandised, clean, and on‐brand throughout the day
n
- Restock and replenish the floor, ensuring sizes and styles are well presented
n
- Assist with visual merchandising updates and window/display changes
n

n

Stock & operations

n

n
- Receive, unpack, and process deliveries
n
- Assist with stock takes and inventory accuracy
n
- Support click-and-collect and online order fulfilment/pickups
n
- Complete opening and closing procedures and daily checklists
n

n

Festive / seasonal

n

n
- Provide gift-wrapping and festive finishing touches for customers
n
- Help manage the increased foot traffic and energy of the Christmas peak
n
- Support in‐store events, promotions, or launches during the season
n
