HSEQ Manager

Canning Vale, WA | Permanent Full-Time

Australian Ceramics Engineering (ACE Group) is a market leader in the supply of wear protection systems, providing clients with complete material handling solutions—including design, fabrication and on-site support—across Australia and internationally.

ACE Group is seeking an experienced and hands-on HSEQ Manager based at our Canning Vale manufacturing facility to take ownership of our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality function.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role is focused on managing the HSEQ function, systems and outcomes. You will work closely with managers, supervisors and operational teams to ensure strong HSEQ standards are maintained across the business.

The Role

· Managing and continuously improving the organisation's HSEQ systems and processes

· Managing ISO compliance, internal audits and external certification audits

· Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, regulatory requirements and internal standards

· Managing risk assessments, workplace inspections, incidents and corrective actions

· Owning workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work processes





· Monitoring and reporting on Safety and Quality performance, trends and emerging risks

· Driving practical HSEQ improvements across operational areas

· Providing HSEQ advice and reporting to the COO and management team

About You

· Demonstrated experience in a senior HSEQ, WHS, OHS, Safety or HSEQ management role, along with relevant tertiary qualifications.

· 5+ years' HSEQ experience within manufacturing, mining, engineering or a similar operational environment

· Strong knowledge of Australian WHS/OHS legislation

· Workers' compensation and return-to-work experience

· Experience with Integrated Management Systems and ISO compliance

· Internal and external audit experience

· Strong incident investigation, risk and corrective action experience

· A practical, hands-on approach and confidence working across all levels of a business

· Current driver's licence
