Are you a Registered Nurse looking to build your career in aged care?
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an established residential aged care provider based South of the River in Perth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently graduated Registered Nurse with aged care experience or an early-career RN with up to 2 years' experience in residential aged care.
You'll join a supportive clinical environment where you can continue developing your nursing skills while making a genuine difference in the lives of older Australians.
The Opportunity
Working as part of an experienced clinical and care team, you'll be responsible for providing secure, high-quality and person-centred nursing care to residents.
This role would particularly suit an RN who is passionate about caring for older people and wants to establish a long-term career within the aged care sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care to residents
- Conducting clinical assessments and contributing to individualised care plans
- Medication administration and management
- Monitoring residents' clinical needs and escalating changes or concerns appropriately
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Supporting care staff in the delivery of quality resident care
- Communicating with residents, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Supporting clinical governance, quality and compliance requirements
- Contributing to a positive, respectful and supportive team environment
About You
We're interested in hearing from newly qualified and early-career Registered Nurses who are genuinely interested in developing their career within residential aged care.
To be considered, you will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous aged care experience, including relevant experience gained as a graduate or within a residential aged care environment
- Up to approximately 2 years' RN experience within aged care
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with and caring for older people
- Good documentation and time-management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full Australian working rights
