Your new role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced finance professional to lead financial reporting, assurance and audit activities within a high-performing finance team.
As the Financial Reporting & Assurance Manager (EL1), you will:

- Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements
- Oversee financial controls, reconciliations and assurance activities
- Coordinate external audit requirements and ANAO engagement
- Review cash flow forecasts, journals and fixed asset reporting
- Prepare Audit & Risk Committee and executive reporting
- Provide technical accounting advice to senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across financial frameworks and processes

The role is available in Canberra, Brisbane or Sydney.

What you'll need to succeed
Must be an Australian citizen with a baseline security clearance.
You'll bring:





- Experience preparing statutory financial statements
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and CBMS
- Experience working within Commonwealth or complex government environments
- Strong financial control, audit and assurance capability
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to lead, coach and develop staff
