4–6 Month Contract | View to Extend | Immediate Start
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a top-tier builder on a major residential project.
This is a contract position for an initial 4–6 months, with a strong view to extend for the right person. The project is in the close-out phase, so you will play an important role in helping the team drive the project through to completion.
About the Role Working closely with the Project Manager and broader commercial team, you will be responsible for helping close out the project and ensuring all commercial and contractual matters are finalised.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing and closing out subcontractor packages
- Preparing, assessing and negotiating variations
- Managing claims and progress claims
- Reviewing subcontractor payment claims
- Assisting with final accounts and project close-out
- Managing contractual correspondence and commercial documentation
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team
- Tracking outstanding commercial and contractual matters through to completion
- Ensuring project documentation and systems are kept up to date





About You We are looking for a Contract Administrator with solid residential construction experience who can step into an established project team and hit the ground running.
You will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator with a main builder
- Strong residential construction experience
- Proven experience managing variations, claims and subcontractor packages
- Experience working on projects through to close-out
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously while also being part of a wider project team
- Experience with construction management systems

Systems Experience with the following systems would be highly regarded:

- JobPac
- Payapps
- Procore
- Aconex
