As our company continues to grow, we are looking for skilled and motivated Trade Assistants to join our team.

At Boltz Electrical we excel in the temporary power and events scene in South Australia, which is a large portion of our work, alongside domestic and commercial projects in between.

About the role

As a Trade Assistant, you will support our electricians and site teams with day to day project tasks, equipment handling, site setup, and general labouring duties. This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in doing quality work, follows instructions well, and wants to build experience in the electrical industry.

Due to the nature of our events side of the business, it gives our workers the opportunity to work in areas all around the state, with common sites like Adelaide Oval, The Adelaide Convention Centre, The Drive, and many more.

Throughout the summer season, a lot of our work is conducted outside in beautiful parklands like Elder Park, Ellis Park, The Botanical Gardens, Barossa Sports Fields, Adelaide Hills Sporting Venues, and so on.

Key responsibilities

· Assist electricians and site supervisors with project and site duties.

· Load, unload, move, and set up tools, materials, and equipment.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite.





· Support cable runs, temporary power setup, and general site preparation.

· Follow safety procedures, company policies, and site instructions.

· Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

· Willing to learn and grow within the business.

Experience and requirements

· Previous trade assistant, labouring, construction, or electrical industry experience is preferred, but not essential.

· Current driver’s license preferred.

· White Card required or willingness to obtain.

· Forklift ticket, EWP license, or relevant tickets would be an advantage.

· Must be willing to work occasional early starts, late finishes, and weekends as required by project demands.
