We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations within a large hospitality venue in Pakenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident kitchen leader who enjoys a rapid-paced environment and is experienced across buffet, à la carte and international cuisine.

The Role:

- Lead daily kitchen operations across buffet and à la carte services
- Oversee a 250-seat buffet and busy sports bar kitchen
- Manage ordering, food costs, budgets, stock and waste
- Lead, train and develop the kitchen team
- Maintain exceptional food safety and hygiene standards
- Deliver consistent quality, presentation and service
- Oversee international cuisine preparation and menu development
- Work closely with venue leadership to drive kitchen performance

You are an experienced Head Chef with:

- Proven experience in a high-volume hospitality environment




- Strong buffet and catering experience
- Demonstrated expertise in food cost and budget management
- Experience leading kitchen teams within a pub, hotel or similar venue
- Knowledge of international cuisine and menu development
- A hands-on, organised approach to kitchen leadership
- A genuine commitment to quality, consistency and team performance
