The Lorian Group is looking for a Contract Administrator to join a well-established Brisbane-based shopfitting and construction company.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified shopfitter who has recently moved off the tools and is looking to build a long-term career in contract administration, or a CA with a strong shopfitting / fitout background looking for a more hands-on role.

The Role This is not your typical office-based CA position. You'll be working closely with the Project Manager across multiple projects, while also spending time on site managing subcontractors and helping keep projects moving.
Projects generally sit around $400K, with multiple jobs running concurrently in a quick-paced shopfitting environment.

You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle, including:

- Working closely with the Project Manager to assist with project delivery
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors
- Attending sites and overseeing works
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Managing variations and project documentation
- Monitoring project costs and budgets
- Assisting with programme and project coordination
- Supporting the PM through to project completion
- Maintaining strong communication between site, subcontractors and the office





What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in shopfitting, fitout or construction
- Ideally a qualified shopfitter who has recently transitioned off the tools
- Alternatively, experience as a Contract Administrator within fitout/shopfitting
- Someone who is comfortable being hands-on and site-based
- Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating trades
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced workplace
- Nexvia experience highly regarded, however experience with similar construction/project management software will be considered
