Intake & Scheduling Officer
Full-Time Intake & Scheduling Officer (Fixed-Term, 6 Months)

The Role
As the Intake & Scheduling Officer, you will play a key role in supporting consumers to access and receive quality home care services. You will be responsible for coordinating client intake processes, managing service schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carers, service providers, and referral agencies.

Highly Desirable
• Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination, or client services
• Previous experience within aged care, disability, health, or community services
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level computer literacy, including Outlook, databases, and scheduling systems
• Understanding of wellness, reablement, and person-centred approaches
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Community Services, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Accountabilities and Responsibilities – Core Functions
• Provide a professional and responsive intake service for new clients
• Coordinate and schedule home care services to meet client needs
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Liaise with clients, carers, service providers, hospitals, and referral agencies
• Review services and support plans as required
• Respond to enquiries and incoming requests for support
• Monitor service delivery and escalate issues where appropriate
• Support compliance, quality improvement, and organisational processes
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of client information
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
