Purpose of the role

At NGM Group, we rely on secure, stable and well-managed technology to deliver banking services our customers and communities can depend on. Our Banking Administrators play an important role in supporting the performance, availability and integrity of our core banking platforms and related systems, helping ensure services remain reliable, secure, and responsive to customer needs.

As one of our trusted Banking Administrators, you'll work closely with Technology teams to monitor and support business-critical systems, resolve incidents, implement controlled changes and maintain day-to-day operational performance. Through proactive monitoring, problem-solving and strong operational discipline, you'll help strengthen the reliability and resilience of our technology environment, supporting the 24/7 banking services our customers rely on and helping minimise disruption when it matters most.

What Success Looks Like

- Monitor and support core banking platforms and related systems, completing operational activities accurately and within agreed timeframes.

- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and system issues, escalating risks and complex problems when required.

- Manage incident, service and change requests, implementing approved system changes with minimal disruption to services.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of core banking and database processes, enhancing reliability, efficiency and operational performance.

- Maintain systems, documentation and processes in line with cyber security, governance, risk and compliance requirements.

- Support monitoring, audits, projects and lifecycle activities, working collaboratively across Technology teams to deliver reliable services.





- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to help support NGM Group's 24/7 banking operations.

What You'll Bring

- Experience supporting business-critical technology platforms, applications or systems within an operational environment.

- Exposure to technologies such as Windows, Linux/Unix and OpenVMS environments, Oracle database technologies, scripting and automation, file transfer and scheduling tools, and storage, backup and data centre infrastructure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify solutions and escalate appropriately.

- Experience working with incident, service and change management processes and maintaining clear documentation.

- Understanding of technology governance, cyber security, risk, compliance and audit requirements.

- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across technical and business teams.

- Willingness and ability to participate in an after-hours on-call support roster.
