Scheduling Officer

A great opportunity to join our team

We’re looking for a Scheduler to join our team full-time.

This is a special opportunity to step into a well established role currently held by a valued member of our team who is retiring. They’ve been an important part of the business, and we’re looking for the right person to take over the reins and become part of our team for the long term.

If you’re someone who enjoys being organised, keeping things moving and helping people get the support they deserve, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing

As our Scheduler, you’ll play an important role in keeping the day-to-day operation running smoothly.

You’ll be coordinating schedules, talking with participants and the team, and dealing with the inevitable changes that come with a busy workplace.

There will be plenty to keep you busy, so you’ll need to be someone who can stay calm, think ahead and find solutions when plans change.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone the rest of the team can rely on.

We’re looking for someone who

- Is looking for a long-term, full-time role

- Lives locally and wants to be part of a local team

- Has previous scheduling, rostering experience (in the healthcare sector will be an advantage)

- Excellent computer skills and confidence learning and using scheduling systems

- Is naturally organised and enjoys keeping things on track

- Is confident communicating with both participants and colleagues

- Can juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the details

- Is practical, reliable and happy to roll up their sleeves when needed

- Be passionate about helping those who rely on us to remain at home

- Assist the team with on-call duties

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Can stay calm when things don’t quite go to plan

- Takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing a valuable job

You don’t need to have done exactly the same job before. What matters most is that you have solid scheduling experience, are comfortable working in a busy environment and have the right attitude to become a valued member of our team.

To be successful, you will need:

- Working with Vulnerable People Card

- Current Police Check

- Full working rights in Australia

- An understanding of the SCHADS Award

- An understanding of the NDIS and Support at Home Program

- Willing to complete online training modules

Why join us?

This isn’t a role where you’ll be treated like just another number.

You’ll be joining an established team, taking over a role that is key to our success. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from the person currently doing the job and have a handover before they retire.

We’re looking for someone who wants to settle in, get to know the team and become a valued part of the business.

Sound like you?

If you’re an experienced Scheduler who likes being busy, enjoys working with people and gets satisfaction from making sure everything runs smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.

Come and join us, learn the ropes from someone who knows the role inside out, and make it your own.

A note about location: This role is not a hybrid or work-from-home role. As this role is onsite, we’re specifically looking for someone who already lives locally and is ready to start work. To save everyone’s time, we won’t be considering applications from interstate candidates.

Previous applicants need not apply.
