Trade Building Supplies NT is a locally owned building supplies business in Winnellie, and we’re looking for the right person to join our Warehouse Team as our business continues to grow.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, a good attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed to get the job done.

About the Role

You’ll work across our building supplies warehouse, picking and preparing customer orders, handling and organising stock, assisting customers with collections and loading vehicles, and helping the wider team keep things moving.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Building supplies, hardware or construction knowledge would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.

Accuracy matters in this role. The right products need to be picked, handled carefully and ready when our customers need them.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately

• Check products and quantities before orders leave the warehouse

• Stage orders for customer collection and delivery

• Assist customers with collections and loading vehicles

• Load and unload stock

• Receive,



unpack and put away incoming stock

• Keep stock organised and stored correctly

• Assist with stock takes and stock counts

• Identify damaged, missing or incorrect stock

• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organised and safe

• Support other team members when needed to keep the day running smoothly

• Follow safe work practices and manual handling procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Current driver’s licence - essential

• Current forklift licence - essential

• Ability to confidently drive a manual vehicle - preferred but not essential

• MR licence - advantageous, but not essential

• Building supplies, hardware or construction industry knowledge - preferred, but not essential

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
