We are currently seeking a motivated Yardperson to support operations at our current Rockhampton branch.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the branch and help ensure equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

- General yard duties, including cleaning and preparation of hire equipment and maintaining the branch - Forklift license a must

- Supporting daily branch operations, including deliveries when required

- Assisting mechanics within the workshop

- Participating in in-house training for machinery operation

- Maintaining and contributing to a strong safety-first culture

- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure excellent customer service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:





- A current driver’s license and reliable transport

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

- Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed

- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality

- Excellent customer service skills

The following would be highly regarded:

- Mechanical aptitude or experience

- Experience working in a yard, workshop, or industrial setting
