Staffpower is currently seeking a high-performing Team Leader – Garden Sheds to join a growing manufacturing operation based in Ettamogah.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the Garden Sheds production line and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to customer requirements.

You will be the first point of contact for the Garden Sheds team, combining your trade expertise, leadership skills and problem-solving ability to keep production moving and machinery operating at its best.

The Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee production lines and lead a team of line operators.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up, tuning and changing over production machinery including roll-formers, punching, folding, cutting and packaging equipment

- Diagnosing machinery issues and responding to breakdowns

- Working closely with Maintenance to resolve technical issues

- Driving machine reliability and efficient changeovers

- Running production according to daily plans and customer orders

- Managing material flow, balancing production stations and addressing bottlenecks





- Monitoring production progress and communicating issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor

- Leading safety standards across the production line

- Conducting in-process quality checks and addressing defects

- Identifying recurring quality issues and contributing to root-cause solutions

- Training and cross-skilling team members

- Supporting recent starters and developing operator capability

- Running team meetings and acting as the first point of contact for the crew

- Supporting production reporting and continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and takes ownership of their work.

To be successful, you will have:

- Trade Qualification as a Machinist – strongly preferred

- Fitter trade qualification will also be considered

- Previous leadership or Team Leader experience – essential

- Strong machine setup, changeover and troubleshooting skills

- Proven problem-solving ability – essential

- Experience working in a high-volume production environment

- Strong understanding of workplace safety

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- The ability to train, guide and develop others

- A fast-paced, practical approach to production

- The ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions
