This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing

This role will provide a broad range of superior level administrative services to the Clinical Governance Unit at Far West Local Health District to enable and support effective and efficient leadership and governance of Far West LHD.

- Minimum Certificate IV qualifications in Business Administration / Health Administration or a relevant field, equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Experience in providing confidential secretarial and administration support services at a senior level.
- Proven interpersonal, engagement, relationship management and conflict resolution skills, including the capacity to develop effective business relationships with managers, employees, stakeholders and external service providers.
- Advanced ICT proficiency using electronic email systems, MS Office suite including Work, PowerPoint, Excel and databases, including data gathering and preparation of reports.
- Demonstrated analytical skills including excellent verbal and written skills; and conceptual and problem solving skills including the ability to respond creatively to issues raised.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, as part of a team, in a high volume work area.
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence, willingness and ability to travel across the District, sometimes staying overnight.
