About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People & Culture team based in Marrickville on a 9-10 month parental leave contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recruitment leader who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, managing end-to-end talent acquisition and leading a high-performing team. You will play a key role in driving recruitment outcomes across MTC, while delivering a positive and engaging experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Leading and supporting the Talent Acquisition team to deliver outstanding recruitment outcomes.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment activities across a diverse range of roles.
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers and acting as a trusted recruitment partner.
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies and talent pipelines to attract high-quality candidates.
- Delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment market insights.
- Monitoring recruitment metrics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Driving recruitment projects and initiatives that strengthen MTC’s employer brand, talent attraction, and support organisational growth.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition within an internal recruitment or agency environment.
- Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring recruitment professionals.
- Experience managing high-volume recruitment and competing priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong sourcing capabilities across job boards, social media and talent networks.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies, with Salesforce experience highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
