About the role

Empowerly Care Services is seeking an experienced High Intensity Disability Support Worker to support participants with complex physical and healthcare needs.

Key responsibilities

- Personal care and daily living support

- PEG/enteral feeding

- Tracheostomy and respiratory support

- Hoisting, transfers and manual handling

- Pressure care and repositioning

- Medication assistance

- Community access and participation

- Monitoring participant wellbeing

- Completing progress notes, charts and incident documentation

- Following care plans, clinical protocols and behaviour support plans

About you

- Female preference

- Experience in disability support, preferably high-intensity/complex care

- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- First Aid & CPR

- Valid driver's licence

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Reliable, skilled and confident working with complex-care participants

- Experience with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, complex manual handling or other high-intensity supports is highly regarded
