We are a specialist consultancy with a diverse team including environmental, civil and structural engineers, scientists, ecologists, hydrologists, flood risk engineers, stormwater and wastewater engineers with a strong project management and construction capability.
Neilly Group is continuing to grow its presence across South Australia, with the Riverland a key focus for our next phase of expansion. We are seeking a Principal Project Manager based in Renmark to help grow our regional capability and lead the delivery of environmental, water and civil infrastructure projects.
Your role at Neilly Group:
The Principal Project Manager role is a newly created position based in Renmark, responsible for the management and delivery of environmental engineering, water and civil infrastructure projects across the region. The role works closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and specialists, as well as local councils, government agencies and irrigation and water authorities, to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities of the role includes:
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from scoping and planning through to delivery and close-out, for our construction project portfolio across South Australia.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations and overall financial performance.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, engagement, performance and compliance.
• Develop and manage project programs, budgets, risk registers and quality plans.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, including local councils, government agencies and irrigation and water authorities.
• Ensure compliance with WHS,
environmental and quality standards across all project activities.
• Report project progress, risks and outcomes to senior management and clients.
We are looking for.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within environmental engineering, civil construction, residential/commercial development or water infrastructure sectors.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects through effective project planning and resource management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with clients, councils and regional communities.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement and subcontractor, consultant and supplier management.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or a related field.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the region as required.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously from our Renmark office while collaborating with our broader South Australian and national teams.
