About the role

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking part-time Maintenance Officer to work at our Myrtle Bank Retirement Living location for 25 hours a week.

As Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs, maintenance and grounds keeping, ensuring a comfortable and safe setting for our residents. You will be paid in line with the Aged Care Award as a level 6 General employee.

The Duties and responsibilities for this role are:

- Daily gardening and grounds related tasks

- Responding promptly to all maintenance and related requests by residents





- Booking and assisting service providers and contractors required on the site

- Annual preventative maintenance reporting

- Ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS policies and procedures

About You

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following:

- Ability to work in property maintenance, building and grounds works

- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all residents

- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

- The ability to solve problems independently and work autonomously

- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including Booster shot) and 2026 Seasonal Influenza vaccination

- NDIS Worker Check Clearance (or willing to obtain one)
