Job Location: Ideally based out of Edinburgh Parks SA, however other major BAE Office locations throughout Australia may be considered.

Role Description:

As one of our Senior Finance Associate's supporting Payroll, you'll be at the heart of delivering a payroll experience our people can trust. Combining payroll expertise, systems knowledge, and a passion for continuous improvement, you'll ensure accurate and timely payments, provide specialist advice on complex payroll matters, drive compliance, and contribute to a high-performing payroll team. Your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, employee satisfaction, and business success.

Core Duties:

- Delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services within a large and complex organisational workplace, ensuring payroll deadlines and service standards are consistently met.
- Providing expert payroll advice to stakeholders, resolving complex payroll queries and interpreting relevant policies, procedures, awards and enterprise agreements.
- Ensuring payroll compliance and governance through accurate record-keeping, strong data integrity, and adherence to legislative, statutory, privacy, and organisational requirements
- Maintaining and utilising Oracle payroll and time and attendance systems to support productive payroll processing and employee data management.
- Coaching, training,



and supporting team members to embrace knowledge sharing, developing capability, and to contribute towards a collaborative, high-performing payroll function.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring quality payroll outcomes are delivered in a timely manner.

About You:

- Strong experience in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services within a large and complex organisation.
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory obligations, awards, enterprise agreements, compliance requirements, and relevant HR policies.
- Experience using Oracle payroll, HR and time and attendance systems to support payroll operations and data management.
- Ability to provide expert payroll advice, interpret policies and agreements, and resolve complex payroll queries.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and deliver customer-focused service.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, along with Oracle HR and Payroll systems
- As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances
