We’re looking for a People & Culture Business Partner who knows that great P&C; is about more than policies and processes – it’s about people, relationships and making things happen.
You’ll be partnering with leaders across our business to deliver people initiatives that support our growth, while navigating the fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable world of aviation.
No two days will look the same. One minute you could be working through an employee relations matter, the next you could be supporting a leader through change, coaching a manager, analysing people data or jumping into a recent P&C; initiative.
In this role, you will:
- ? Partner with leaders across diverse departments to deliver people initiatives that support business growth and success.
- Act as a trusted and strategic advisor to leaders, providing practical guidance across all things P&C.;
- Work alongside managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement and talent development.
- Support and drive organisational change initiatives and bring HR programs to life.
- Partner with our Recruitment team to attract, select and onboard great people who are the right fit for our business.
- Use HR data, metrics and trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations that genuinely improve the employee experience.
- Deliver training and coaching on a range of P&C; topics to build capability across our leadership teams.
- Most importantly, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
We’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable developing a strategy as they are jumping into the detail and helping get the job done.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who brings experience, energy and a genuine passion for people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a P&C; Business Partner or similar, preferably within a blue-collar and/or unionised environment.
- Strong knowledge across HR and IR, with an understanding of best practice and how to apply it in a complex operational environment.
- Aviation experience? Even better! But if you’re from another fast-paced, operational industry, we’d still love to hear from you.
- The ability to build genuine relationships and influence people at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to tackle challenging and sensitive people matters.
- A demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive change and bring people along for the journey.
- The ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field.
- willingness to travel to other states as required.
? The Bottom Line
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just sit on the sidelines.
If you’re people-focused, practical, curious and ready to make a real impact – while enjoying the buzz and unpredictability of the airport environment – we want to hear from you.
Your next career move is cleared for take-off. ✈️
