About the role

The role plays an important part of the day-to-day operations. It is up to the Equipment Services Co-Ordinator to have our equipment provided to the customer in a condition that surpasses their expectations. This includes cleaning, valeting, arranging service and complete minor repairs ourselves in a short time frame. This means that every customer that enters the yard should be able to hook up a trailer, or pick up a truck, problem free in a minimum amount of time. This role is also required to deliver or pick up hire equipment from customers and transfer equipment between depots and to keep to our 'Hook up and Go' policy. The Equipment Services team are responsible for ensuring this is the case and that customers enjoy their contact with TR. The purpose is to ensure that our gear is where it needs to be to when it needs to be there to allow our customers and team to be working efficiently and as effectively as possible. This would require you to hold a multi-combination license. You take pride in making sure our fleet is looking at its best and have great attention to detail. The role represents TR Group at customer sites and at our service providers which requires the ability to communicate professionally.

Key responsibilities

- Truck driving requirements, including pick up and drop off of hire equipment from customer and/or supplier sites (if licenced)
- Being first point of contact to greet our customers when they arrive to pick up / drop off vehicles - you are confident and friendly making sure our customers feel comfortable onsite
- Communicating with the Rental Operations team about vehicle information and requirements - working together as one team




- Dehire inspection of vehicles - an eye for detail with the ability to identify damages and defects when vehicles are returned from hire
- Updating our Autocheck system with de hire inspection data
- The ability to undertake minor vehicle repairs to enable vehicles to be available for hire without delays
- Washing and detailing of vehicles - ensuring our vehicles are looking their best
- Contribute to our health and safety requirements
- Making sure all equipment is at a high level of presentation and legally compliant ready for the next customer
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and maintain the appearance of the yard in all respects, fencing, rubbish collection, and general condition of the yard

- Multi-combination license required
- An ability and willingness to learn
