The Chance

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field Service Fitter based out of our Canberra branch. You’ll work on cutting-edge Hitachi and Bell machinery across the ACT and surrounding regions, backed by world-class training and support.
Flexible working rosters available depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform onsite diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Hitachi equipment
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting in the field
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time
- Work safely and in line with company quality and safety standards

About You

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Mechanics or equivalent
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and solve technical issues
- OEM or earthmoving equipment experience (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement
