About the role

Kingscliff Pool Shop is seeking a talented and dedicated Pool Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pool maintenance and repair services to our valued customers in the Tweed Coast NSW area. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operation and enjoyment of residential and commercial swimming pools.

What you'll be doing

- Perform regular pool maintenance activities such as chemical testing, cleaning, filtering, and vacuuming

- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues, including pumps, filters, and chlorination systems

- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on pool equipment to keep systems running efficiently

- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on proper pool care and equipment operation

- Maintain detailed records of service visits and communicate regularly with customers

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

- In store sales and customer service.

What we're looking for

- Experience preferred as a Pool Service Technician or similar role in the pool industry. Training provided to applicants who have a willingness to learn new skills.

- Strong technical knowledge of pool equipment,



water chemistry, and pool maintenance best practices preferred.

- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve pool-related issues

- A valid full driver's licence

- Ability to perform physical tasks involved in pool maintenance. This includes some heavy lifting.
