Are you a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic who thrives on building customer relationships and providing technical expertise in the field?

We're seeking an experienced Product Support Advisor to join our team on an 8/6 FIFO roster, supporting a major mining customer in the Pilbara. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with customer engagement, helping maximise equipment reliability and performance across a world-class operation. Based on site, you'll be the key liaison between Penske and our customer, ensuring faults are diagnosed promptly, technical solutions are delivered efficiently, and equipment uptime is optimised.

About the Role

- Act as the primary technical support contact for site-based maintenance and reliability teams.
- Diagnose engine and equipment faults, providing technical recommendations and solutions.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.
- Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and parts requirements with internal support teams.
- Attend daily asset health and planning meetings with customer stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and fault analysis reports.
- Assist with servicing, troubleshooting, and repair activities when required.
- Provide product expertise and on-the-job coaching to site personnel.
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service and support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant or equivalent trade qualification.




- Minimum 5 years' experience in a related industry.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working on mining, power generation, off-highway, marine or industrial equipment.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong reporting, computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote FIFO environment.
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
