We are building the foundation team for our brand-new Chemist Warehouse x Ultra Beauty store at Mt Ommaney and are looking for Intern Pharmacists to join us in part-time positions.

About the role

As an Intern Pharmacist, you will gain practical experience across dispensary operations, professional services and customer care while completing your pre-registration year. You will work closely with your preceptor, Pharmacists and the wider store team to apply your university learning, develop sound professional judgement and prepare for registration as a Pharmacist.

A typical day may include:

- Assisting with prescriptions, dispensing and scripts in and out under Pharmacist supervision.

- Providing friendly customer service and appropriate advice on medicines and pharmacy products within your scope of practice.

- Supporting dispensary administration, stock ordering, unpacking and inventory control.





- Participating in clinical services and learning how to deliver safe, accurate and compassionate pharmacy care.

- Working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Students, Dispensary Assistants and the wider store team.

- Completing workplace learning activities and applying feedback from your preceptor and program facilitators.

- Building trusted relationships with customers and contributing to a warm, respectful and professional pharmacy environment.

About you

You are an enthusiastic, reliable and team-focused pharmacy graduate who is ready to commence your pre-registration year. You bring a genuine willingness to learn, strong attention to detail and a commitment to developing into a confident and capable Pharmacist.

Eligibility and ability to undertake your pre-registration year immediately.

- Completion, or expected completion, of an approved pharmacy qualification required to commence an internship in Australia.

- A dedicated work ethic and genuine commitment to professional learning and development.

- Excellent customer service skills and a caring approach to patients and customers.

- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisation in a busy environment.

- A willingness to seek feedback, ask questions and grow with the business.

- Previous retail or community pharmacy experience is advantageous but not essential.

- Your Intern Pharmacist Program

Our structured program complements your accredited Intern Training Program and includes monthly full-day interactive sessions covering clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, over-the-counter product knowledge and retail management. The content is delivered across 11 manageable sessions throughout the year.

You will also receive access to exclusive exam resources,



practice oral examinations with immediate feedback, ongoing guidance from program facilitators and coordinators, and day-to-day support from a dedicated onsite preceptor.

After registration, you can continue building your career through pathways including Pharmacist, Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacist Manager, Area Manager and future pharmacy ownership opportunities.

The work environment

Our stores are busy, energetic environments where no two days are the same. Team members work throughout the pharmacy during their shift and may stand for extended periods. Some duties may involve repetitive movements and occasional lifting of heavier items, so please keep this in mind when applying.
