We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Leadership team as Director of Responsible Futuring K–12, a unique and pioneering role designed for a visionary educator, strategic thinker and builder of innovative opportunities.

This is not a traditional leadership position.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Deputy Head of School (Secondary), the Director of Responsible Futuring K-12 will provide strategic leadership across the School, developing cutting-edge programs that enable students to translate their learning into meaningful real-world action.

Central to this role is helping students discern how their unique gifts, talents and passions can be used to serve others, address contemporary challenges and contribute to the common good. Through a combination of leadership development, service learning, industry partnerships and future-focused experiences, you will empower students to become thoughtful, ethical and compassionate leaders who seek to make a positive difference in the world.

St Andrew’s Cathedral School (SACS) is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 12 Anglican school located in two high-rise buildings in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The school offers students a strong academic program and extensive opportunities to be involved in sport, music, drama and outdoor education.

Child Safety

SACS is a child safe organisation. Our School promotes the safety and wellbeing and inclusion of all students. In support of SACS’ commitment to embedding child safety (Standard 1), we ensure that our staff are suitable for working with children and young people and that they are supported (Standard 5).

Staff are required to maintain a child safe culture, act in every child’s best interest and to keep them safe from harm, in accordance with the School’s policies and procedures (Standard 10) which reflect the Child Safe Standards.

It is a condition of employment that all new Staff at the School must sign a written statement or complete an electronic acknowledgement that they have read and understand our Child Safe Policy and the Child Safe Codes of Conduct prior to commencing at the School.

Prior to employment at the School, this position requires the successful applicant to have a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
