Netball ACT (NACT) is the peak body for netball in the ACT and a Member Organisation of Netball Australia. Our purpose is to lead and support the ACT community to inspire and grow netball.

Reports to:
Chief Executive Officer
Key Relationships:
Chief Executive Officer, NACT Board and Board Committees as required, NACT staff and contractors, Member Associations, Netball Australia, fellow Member Organisations, NACT members, commercial partners, service providers, accountants, auditors and relevant government or regulatory bodies.
Stakeholder Relationships
Internal:
NACT employees, contractors, volunteers, Board committees and working groups as relevant to the role.
External:
Netball Australia, fellow Member Organisations, Member Associations, commercial partners, service providers, auditors, accountants, government agencies and the broader ACT netball community.
Position Profile and Primary Objectives
The Finance Manager supports Netball ACT's financial management, reporting, administration and related business systems. The role ensures financial processes are accurate, timely, efficient and compliant, and supports the CEO, Board and staff with practical information to enable sound decision-making.
Position Capabilities
The Finance Manager will bring strong financial administration, accounting systems, reporting, stakeholder communication and problem-solving capability. The successful candidate will manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, support continuous improvement in business processes and contribute to a professional, accountable and service-focused workplace culture.
Position Location
The position will be based at the SolarHub ACT Netball Centre.
Salary / Tenure / Hours
Part time; 15 hours per week, with the requirement to work additional hours as required to meet organisational, reporting, audit and operational deadlines.
The Finance Manager may attend Board committee meetings, staff meetings, finance meetings, audit meetings and stakeholder forums as required.
